My teaching approach :

I think that the student must master a few basic skills and concepts combined with finger control and dexterity. From there we can explore the nature of harmony, chord construction, and improvisation. I have been playing for over 40 yrs and teaching over 20. I lead an award winning band and know how to motivate. My gear is reflective of 40+ yrs in music and is pro grade.

Fee Schedule :

At any of my locations $80/mo. In home rate is distance dependent and can be spread out to a longer lesson every other week to minimize financial impact, but will run about $100/mo for one student and $150/mo for two at same time frame and location. Siblings and neighbors can save some time and money with this approach.

My cancellation/booking policy :

First lesson is free, after that student pays monthly. Once we have a time and location, it belongs to that student until they change it. Every effort is made on my part to schedule make up lessons if canceled up to scheduled time. Forgotten or 'just missed/didn't call' lessons are the student's responsibility.
