My teaching approach :

I have been playing guitar seriously for about 13 years. I currently play in a gigging classic rock band called Fourth Gear. I have a home studio above my garage which is a very comfortable atmosphere for teaching as well as recording. I teach beginners a solid foundation for very reasonable rates and would be happy to elaborate on my teaching methods via phone.

Fee Schedule :

If the lesson is at my house, I charge $20 per hour. If I have to drive (no further than 15 minutes from my house) it is $40 per hour. I generally setup lessons for every other week which works out well for most people due to their busy schedules. Payment is due at the lesson.

My cancellation/booking policy :

I try to keep it informal and not too rigid. I usually will talk to a student at the beginning of the week of the lesson and figure out a time that mutually works. As far as cancellation....I just ask to give me as much notice as possible.
