I teach in Pittsfield, MA at the Berkshire Music School, also in Easthampton at The Holmes Studio.

My teaching approach :

I teach young students the skills that are important for them know if they should someday want to be a professional guitarist. Reading, ear training, single note and rhythm studies. I also want my students to enjoy playing music so I think it's important to learn songs as soon as possible. Simple songs can open up a students ability to make music on the guitar. I teach students of all ages.

Fee Schedule :

My fee schedule is set up by the schools where I teach and is usually paid per semester. Sometimes the fee can be paid per month. I encourage beginning students to give the lessons at least 10 weeks to see if you want to continue. Method books or any other books assigned are separate from my teaching fee.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Currently I have several time slots for scheduling lessons. I expect 24 hrs notice if a student can't make a lesson. I will then reschedule that lesson at a time that is best for the student. If I don't get 24 hrs notice, then I will make up the lesson at a time that is best for me.
