My teaching approach :

I greatly expand the student's ear-power -- so he or she can do just what I first do for them -- work out their favorite performances on-the-spot by ear directly from CD -- all styles -- & transfer them to the guitar. Greatly deepen the student's harmony & theory know-how, by de-constructing his or her favorite cuts from start to finish, and providing dynamic coaching in writing their own music.
