My teaching approach :

John Tracy is the founder and director of Tampa Bay Music Academy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Music. He has performed in and conducted multiple vocal and instrumental groups. He has served as the music pastor for two large Baptist churches, the conductor of a high skill level performance youth orchestra, a classroom teacher on the elementary, middle school, and high school level, and the administrator of two different music schools prior to launching Tampa Bay Music Academy in 2011. Mr. Tracy also composes, records, performs, and publishes regularly in the Tampa Bay area.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

If you have had guitar lessons previously, the first lesson will consist of some time for you to play a piece that you have learned previously, as well as opportunity for me to ask a series of questions to evaluate your current skill and knowledge of the guitar and general music theory.
