My teaching approach :

My professional experience includes teaching private students sine 2000, teaching English in Japan (4 years; all ages), substitute teaching, college professor's aid experience, and more. Whether related to teaching guitar or other subjects, I have plenty of teaching experience. I like to use the book, "Harmony and Theory," I always use metronomes, keep up to date materials for students using youtube and other utilities/programs, and have a very patient personality mixed with a scientific approach to teaching. Students must practice, so I motivate them to practice daily!

Fee Schedule :

When teaching private students, I usually charge $30/lesson (1hr). If students can prove that the rate is lower in certain areas, I negotiate with them. For teaching in other institutions (other than privately in my home or the homes of my students), I ask for $15+/lesson.

My cancellation/booking policy :

If students cancel 24 hr in advance (a one-time cancellation, that is), I do not require that they pay.
