My teaching approach :

All my teaching is done on a individual basis I try not to use a cookie cutter approach I really want to help the student meet their own personal goals. Some students need lots of structure and some don't. I can usually tell what their needs are from giving over 320 lessons per month for the past twelve years. All my students can expect to learn allot, and have fun doing it.

My latest influence is Jeff Beck he is unbeliveable. Also Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Steve Howe, Steve Lukather, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Phil Keaggy. I have so many other influences I really like anyone who breaks the boundiers of music a pushes the envelope.

Fee Schedule :

I teach six days a week Mondays thru Saturdays. Both at my home in Puyallup Washington and at a local music store in Tacoma Washington Ted Brown Music. I am willing to make home visits for an extra $20.00 dollars per month for no more than a ten mile round trip, $30.00 for a 15 to 20 mile round trip and won't travel more than a twenty mile round trip and depending on availability.

My cancellation/booking policy :

If you cancell a lesson there are no make ups or refunds for lesson missed. Unless for extreme family emergency with an ok from Joey. If Joey misses he will pro-rate lesson missed the next month. Lessons are prepaid for one month in advance with a month to month gentlemans agreement.
