My teaching approach :

I have been playing guitar for seventeen years. I've always jumped on every opportunity to become a better musician. Playing by ear, taking lessons and performing live have a huge part in developing my playing. I will present an overview in blues, funk, and rock. Through these styles we will study rhythm, scales/modes, technique, players ect... Some basic theory will also be applied throughout.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

Theory, technique, styles, players/solo's, transcriptions, song writing, how to practice, improvisation, listening, tone, advanced chords, triads, simple songs...

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

First lesson, if you're a beginner we will start with basic chords. A more advanced student, we can study technique/ theory and how it applies to all music. Watching you play will help me get a feel for where to go with each individual student.

I teach on tuesdays, wednesday's in the afternoon and evening and saturday's in the day. I am also very flexible with my schedule.

Fee Schedule :

My rate is $10 half hour/$20 dollars an hour.
