My teaching approach is extremely individualized for the student. Typically, I teach the music/songs the student is most interested in, and then study those pieces in terms of technique and theory. Please visit my website for more info on my professional experience and approach.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

The lesson starts with a review of the subject matter from the previous lesson. Any problem areas are addressed. The remainder of the lesson focuses on new material (technique, theory, song that is being studied)

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

The first lesson is a chance to make the student feel comfortable and to discuss their objectives on the instrument. I assess the students playing ability in a very stressfree way, I don't put the student on the sopot. I can very easily determine what techniques need to be addressed and what theory needs to be covered.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

I teach Monday through Thursday 3pm to 10pm. Friday 3pm to 7:30

Jimmy Page, Doc Watson, Eric Clapton, Dean De Leo, Freddie King, Peter Green, Andres Segovia, Tony Iommi, SRV. The list goes on, I have many influences from a number of genres.

Fee Schedule :

Lessons are an hour long, once a week, or once every other week. Some 1/2 hour slots are available to 9 and 10 year olds. Please contact me for fees, my rates are reasonable.

24 hour notice is required
