My teaching approach :

I have 8 years of guitar playing experience, from techniques, chord progressions, rhythms, rock/blues soloing, tap soloing, use of scales, playing covers and songwriting. My teaching method brings out the enjoying aspect of playing the guitar from the very start by teaching fundamental concepts through the use of music you are already interested in.

Fee Schedule :

My lesson plan is based on 1 hour sessions. My standard fee is $20 paid before the lesson. Before we arrange a lesson date, I require that we meet in person for a half hour so I can evaluate your current understanding of the guitar, let you hear me play, and introduce myself as a teacher of the guitar. There is no fee for the initial meeting, as its purpose is to introduce ourselves to eachother.

My cancellation/booking policy :

My booking policy is simple. We setup a date, and we meet in the predetermined timeframe. Please try not to be more than 15 minutes late. My policy on cancellations is for you to give me notice of at least 24 hours if not further in advance. If you do not give notice of a cancellation by meeting time, call me asap to reschedule. Neglecting to notify me of cancelling cannot be a common occurrence.
