My teaching approach :

I play all styles of contemporary and classic jazz, rock, blues, folk, and pop. I cover technique, performance, repertoire, theory, and improvisation. I use grids, tablature, and traditional notation and have instructed over 1,500 successful guitar students at both Musicians Warehouse locations in San Jose, CA (Evergreen and Almaden) Tonys Music in San Jose, CA, and Stevens Music in Cupertino, CA since 1980.

Fee Schedule :

My lesson rate is $130.00 per month (4 weeks). They are half hour lessons occurring once a week. Hour lessons are optional for advanced students at $240.00 per month. The payment is made on the first lesson of the 4-week cycle. I do not accept partial or late payments. I accept local checks and cash only.

My cancellation/booking policy :

All lessons are paid in advance. If an emergency situation occurs and the student must cancel their lesson I will give a make-up lesson otherwise I only give make-ups if the student and I discuss cancellation one week in advance. 30 days notice is required if the student plans to quit lessons.
