My teaching approach :
The guitar is an amazingly verstile instrument, with it's capacity to produce melody, harmony and percussion, all at the same time. As my student, you will come to maximize the power of this ever ancient, ever new instrument by learning: Rhythm (strumming and finger picking) Melody (playing the tune of your favorite songs): Harmony (chords and multi-note patterns that flow from me

Fee Schedule :
In my 20 years of teaching, I have found that students learn through different approaches, at different paces, and learn best through a customized, not one-size-fits all approach. Some students respond best with a shorter lesson of one-half hour, which is $30. Others thrive on a mid-length lesson of 45 minutes for $40. Still others find that a full hour at $50 is most conducive to learning.
My cancellation/booking policy :
I have found that students learn best when they are committed to a solid lesson on a regular schedule each week, and a minimum of 20 minutes of daily practice between lessons. So, I strongly encourage consistency of lesson times. However, I am a realist who knows that family and social commitments may cause the ocassional need for rescheduling, so I always strive to work out a make-up lesson.
