My teaching approach :

I am a very patient, fun, and professional teacher, I look forward when the students enjoy the lessons while they are learning and improving their skills. I have studied classical guitar in Superior Music Conservatory "Jose Angel Lamas" and Jazz Guitar Performance in UNEARTE. I have taught lessons in English and Spanish to students from different ages, the youngest one being 7 years old

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

The class is structured in four different sections: 1.- Preparation: doing technique exercises (scales, etc.) 2.- Review of previous class 3.- Applied theory: doing exercises that involves reading, learning chord progressions and licks. 4.- New repertoire: learning a new tune or fragments of it.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

I ask the students their musical background. If they have experience I ask them to play a tune and to read a simple tune.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

Loves music, and is willing to learn.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

Mon - Sat from 3pm to 8 pm.

Jazz guitarrist:Wes Montgomery, George Benson, John McLaughing. Rock guitarrist: Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani. Flamenco guitarrist: Paco de Lucia, Tomatito Classic guitarrist: Antonio Lauro, Paco de Lucia

Fee Schedule :

$40 for full-hour lessons. If paying for 4 lessons in advance discounted at $35 each.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Flexible,with student agreement. 24 hour cancellation policy
