My teaching approach :

I'm mostly a classical guy - from the Noad, Duncan, etc. schools. A bit of Shearer here and there. I focus on technique, musicality, and ergonomics. I believe in the use of etudes for technique, but learning EVERY piece as musically as possible, from the get-go. I also teach beginner/intermediate electric and folk guitar, focusing on technique, theory, and musicality.

Fee Schedule :

First lessons are always $30 for an hour-long lesson. After that, I charge $45 an hour, or $30 for a half hour lesson. Based on my level of education, my international academic and performing experience, and the teachers I've studied with, my fees are quite reasonable, even inexpensive. However, they are, in very rare cases, negotiable. Talk to me for further details.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Because I'm willing to teach both at my studio and at students' homes, all cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
