My teaching approach :

I take a nuanced, non-linear approach to each student, based on where he or she currently is and wants to get to. I use guitar method books along with my own exercises and pieces from the genres you're interested in. I have a B.A. in Music with a focus on Classical Guitar and Composition from Pomona College, and I have been playing, performing and teaching for many years.

Fee Schedule :

$30 for first lesson. $30 for half-hour lessons. $45 for full-hour lessons purchased thereafter. Paying for 4 lessons in advance earns a free 5th lesson.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Students typically have one lesson per week, at an agreed upon time, but I am fairly flexible. As with most teachers, I have a 24 hour cancellation policy.
