My teaching approach :
Lessons are tailored to you with a focus on your goals whether it be improvisation/jamming, learning songs or writing your own. I have been playing guitar for 10+ years and am a graduate of The Musicians Institute. I was head instructor for La Entradas afterschool guitar program and developed curriculum for Summit Highschool's Music Intersession. I play guitar in the rock band Please Do Not Fight.

My influences are:
I love all types of music from hip-hop to alternative rock to indie rock to bluegrass to funk! You name it. My favorite guitarists are John Mayer and David Gilmour and I love indie and folk singer/song-writers like Bob Dylan and Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes).
Fee Schedule :
$50/45 minute lesson. $35/30 minute lesson. Recitals and other performance opportunities are included in that cost. Students pay for a full month in advance due on the first lesson of the month. I also offer 1-2 hour long band classes for groups looking to improve their development as musicians and bandmates.
My cancellation/booking policy :
Booking is through e-mail or phone. Students are expected to show up for lessons. Lessons cancelled 48 hours in advance are not eligible for reschedule although I will often try to make it up if I can. Summertime is different and students schedule their lessons when they are available.
