Teacher of guitar specializing in the classical and flamenco guitar techniques.The lessons will comprise of sight reading,guitar technique and playing by ear.These lessons will be invaluable for a student who wants to enter up to the college level guitar program. I have 30 years of experience teaching such students. I am teaching all age groups and levels.I have a musical degree and can also help students with harmonies(chords) that pertain to other styles of guitar performance(i.e. jazz,rock,country, etc..). I start with the etudes of Fernando Sor and Mauro Giuliani. I will urge the student to learn and perform sonatas by these notable composers. I will help the student build a repretoire from composers of early music to modern.(i.e. Milan,Sanz,Scarlatti,Bach,Sor, Giuliani,Tarrega,Torroba, Albeniz ,Lauro,Sagreras,Granados and more). I will emphazise on technique and sight reading.

The student has to give me back the lesson that i thought previosly. We will perfect those before moving on to new pieces. We will work on performance techniques of each piece and their alternative fingerings until the student is able to perform easily.

Start with basic scales and aesy etudes. I assess by looking at his playing technique wether right or wrong.

My ideal student is one who is motivated to learn, and then i will do everything to make him progress more.

Weekends. All hours.

The composers i mentioned above are all my favorites plus more and i have been influenced by all of them.
