My teaching approach :
I teach both private and an 8-Week Guitar Boot Camp. The Boot Camp gets you from A to Z quickly. It's a very intense course and I only allow up to 6 people in each Camp. I teach you how to read notes, play chords, play leads, play by ear, play classical, read & write music, finger pick, and understand music theory, in a compact learn-the-guitar-quick 8-Week Guitar Boot Camp that includes 16 lessons. The private lessons are available for those who want more customized instruction.
A guitar lesson with me might entail the following
The 8-Week Guitar Boot Camp is a set course which, if followed, gets you up and running in 8 short weeks. The private lessons are more at your pace, and according to they style you eventually would like to play.
Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following
I evaluate you to see what your particular strengths (and weaknesses) are musically. I build the lessons around that.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following
One who practices perfectly, because perfect practice makes perfect. It also helps you get where you want to faster.
Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:
Mornings, afternoons, and eves, just depending on the day and availability.
My influences are:
The Edge, Lindsey Buckingham, Prince, Mark Farner, & Eric Clapton. There are a lot of classical guitarists that are amazing as well, I just don't know their names.
Fee Schedule :
The 8-Week Guitar Boot Camp is $159, which breaks down to be just $4.94 per 1/2 hour lesson, because you can bring a friend, sibling, spouse, son or daughter, or mom or dad for free! Private lessons are $18.75 per 1/2 hour lesson, & again, you can bring a friend, sibling, spouse, son or daughter, or mom or dad for free! Prepaid quarterly lessons (every 4 months) receive a 20% discount.
My cancellation/booking policy :
I appreciate a 24-hour notice if my students can't make it. It must be some type of an emergency though. Lessons must be made up in the week that they are missed, unless the emergency prevents it. Vacations are an exception as long as at least 1 week of notice is given.
Which methods of payment are accepted?
Cash, Checks, Paypal
