My teaching approach :
I have played in many rock, country, original & Beatle based bands since the 70s at clubs, concerts, fairs & festivals, opening for several big name acts. I worked at Guzzardo music for 13 years and owned/operated my own music store for a decade. I'm now offering private lessons teaching music notation, tablature, theory, ear training and more using method books, original prepared lesson material and real songs to make the learning process fun, practical, informative, successful and personalized to each student's needs and tastes. I love teaching all levels and styles, from 8 years old & up

My influences are:
Many - a wide and varied bunch! Particularly guitar driven classic rock from the 60s and 70s, lead by the Beatles. All the great, true Guitar Heroes: Clapton, Page, Hendrix, Beck. Also, great SONGWRITERS: James Taylor, Jim Croce, Cat Stevens, America, Steely Dan and all great, intricate acoustic and electric material. I respect/admire a lot of 90s and beyond: Collective Soul, Creed, Nickelback
