My teaching approach :

My teaching approach is flexible depending upon the background and needs of the student. I studied Jazz and Classical guitar at VCU and have studied American roots music styles intensely on my own. I am also familiar with many latin folk styles such as Flamenco, Bossa, and Afro-Cuban. I can teach by tab or standard notation, your choice. I can definitely help with music theory and improvisation.

Fee Schedule :

My rates are $40/hour or $20/half hour. Lessons are weekly and I'm available Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

My cancellation/booking policy :

You pay at the beginning of the month to reserve a weekly time slot for the entire month. If you need to miss a lesson I will do my best to give you a makeup time but there are no guarantees. I do keep broad hours and I can't remember the last time I was unable to schedule a makeup for someone.
