My teaching approach :

I have been playing for 30+ years. My approach is to tailor practices and skills that will bring the student to their musical goals as fast as possible. I like my students to practice daily. If they are a beginner I would say minimum practice would be 15-30 minutes a day, or two days on and 1 day off. If they are intermediate or advanced, they should practice 30 minutes to 1+ hours a day
