My teaching approach is to promote good playing technique, from holding the instrument properly and on, and to pursue the performance or personal direction the student would like to go i.e., playing styles and genre.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

My lessons entail using a variety of resources from my own material to books of all kinds. I utilize the music the student would like to pursue for practice and playing accuracy. I use cd's, ipod, youtube and other media as well.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

Introductory lessons: I usually gather info about where the student has been musically in any capacity. I also look at where the student is in playing the guitar and assess the beginning point of my teaching.

I teach tuesday through saturday; morning, afternoon and evenings.

My influences are:

I have a wide variety of influences in my music life in all genres of music. From Bach, to Dylan, Hendrix to Stevie Ray, I enjoy many, many artists and each one influences me in a unique way.

Fee Schedule :

my fees are: $25 for a 30 minute one on one lesson; $35 for 45 minutes and $45 for an hour.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Contact me by email, website, text or phone. I try and have students give me a 24 hour notice if cancelling, but some situations don't allow that.
