My guitar/voice/piano/songwriting/musicality teaching style is student centered, meaning that I focus on the student's main interests, enthusiasms, and learning style and help build their musical skills and knowledge from there. My greatest areas of expertise are folk, blues, and related genres.

Fee Schedule :

Private lessons are $50/hour or $35/half hour. Small group classes (2 or more) can be arranged (2 students: $70/hr; 3 students $90/hr, 4 students $100/hr).

My cancellation/booking policy :

Lessons are set up by appointment. Most students choose to come once a week, but the schedule is flexible. Note that Artichoke is not as private a space as my home, so people who feel shy about singing may want to choose my home as their learning location. Cancellations: 24 hours advance notice.
