My teaching approach :

My desire is to help each student achieve their goals by making music fun & applicable to their needs and situation, directing them towards proficiency and self-sufficiency. I taught guitar in private lessons for 40 years on my own and in many music stores, guitar courses in college for 6 years, in a performing arts charter high school for 4 years, and in elementary/middle school for 8 years.

Fee Schedule :

Private lesson fees are: $25 per 30 minutes, $100 per month; and $40 per 60 minutes, $160 per month. Group lesson fees (for 3 or more students) are: $20 per 60 minutes, $80 per month; and $120 for the 6 week class sessions. All lesson fees paid in advance. All lesson materials are provided unless the student requests a specific method or curriculum.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Lessons are prepaid on or by the first lesson of each month. Months with 5 weeks include a free lesson or are used for make-up lessons from excused absences. Quarterly prepaid lessons (3 months paid) qualify for an additional credit or excused absences. No refunds. All cancellations must be approved at least 7 days in advance. Approved absences are rescheduled or credited to your account.
