My teaching approach :

My teaching approach is tailored to the particular student I am working with. Education is one thing, learning is another - the teacher has to adapt to the student. In my view, songwriting and music theory fundamentals are essential to becoming a well-rounded musician. To start I work one-on-one with acoustic guitars, preferably classical because nylon strings and a thicker neck force a student to finger properly while exploiting their unique sound and style. Classical guitars are very organic in that sense. Then we will pursue songwriting and theory and then preferred genres.

Fee Schedule :

I am very passionate about music. I desire to help students learn more than making money. That being said, some compensation is necessary. The first lesson is a 20 dollar flat fee. If we decide to continue lessons, my rate is $12 an hour. Price is negotiable. If you email me we can discuss a deal.

My cancellation/booking policy :

I would like all inquires initially to be sent via email. This is easier to organize. I will exchange phone numbers with committed students. I need at least 24 hours notice. I will respond to your inquiry promptly and work out a time that will work best for both of us. Feel free to email with general questions.
