My teaching approach :

I studied with Joe Pass, Ron Eschete' and Segovia protoge' Eric Henderson. I also studied at UCLA. My approach varies with each student. Some want to learn theory, some songs, some to read. I believe working on the students goals (with input from the parents ) works best, and usually leads to the student wanting to learn more aspects of music. I have been a professional musician since age fifteen.

Fee Schedule :

I teach 1/2 hour or 1 hour lessons once a week mostly, but other schedules can work as well. Most people pay the month in advance, but I can accomodate other payment schedules if necessary.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Lessons can be booked at any time by calling me direct at (949)212-5275. If I have cancellation by 10:00AM the day of the lesson by phone message there will be no charge. For Saturday I require 12 hours notice of cancellation as some of the lessons start before 10:00AM on Saturday. If you are a consistent student I am sensitive to family emergency, sickness, etc.. I appreciate any notice possible.
