My teaching approach :

I teach beginners classical guitar via the Suzuki method, teaching the student to play melodies on the guitar by 1st singing solfege syllables (Do, Re,Mi,) then finding those notes on their guitar. After 6 months I intoduce note reading. For older students who play electric guitar or have some experience, I start with the style of music they like. Then I introduce theory, scales, improv. etc.

Fee Schedule :

At my studio: $45/45 min. lesson and $60/1 hour. At your home: $60/45 min, and $75/ 1hour. Please go to (myspace.com/robertheinink) where you can read an in depth profile about me, my education, my performing experience and hear some of my music.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Lessons work best if you take them once a week, unless you are an advanced student. Cancellation policy: 24 hour notice or you will be charged for the missed lesson.
