My teaching approach :

We'll start off with fingering techniques and progress to blues patterns (which are the basis for most types of popular music today) and the theory behind them, so you'll be able to modify them and make them your own - not just play them note for note. I'll also do extensive rhythm exercises with you playing along to a drum machine, and show you how you can build your own basslines step by step.

Fee Schedule :

My fee is $40 per one hour lesson at the studio in Manhattan or at my home in Brooklyn. If I have to travel to you, there might be a small travel fee (neg.). I don't watch the clock. If we go a bit over the hour, there is no extra charge.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Would prefer to get notice at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.
