The primary obligation of every guitar lesson is to have fun! Every student is different, with their own musical preferences and goals. After finding out as much as possible about the student, I format each lesson using techniques & exercises that will help them to play the music they love. I prepare for every lesson with a detailed outline and leave a "practice schedule" when I leave. At home I have a full recording studio and use Guitar Pro 6 for all my travel lessons. Funk Favorites like Curtis Mayfield, Tower of Power, and Stevie Wonder. All the Jazz greats - Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, & Jon Coltrane and many more. Anything from Blues & Reggae to Rock & Classical. I'm influenced by Music of all kinds
