My teaching style is a low pressure one. It is my intention to allow the the student to gain their own enjoyment out of playing guitar. That is the whole purpose of playing music - to have fun. I teach with the purpose of helping a student learn the song or music of their choosing. I do assign exercises based on current progress and ability. Professionally: I've been teaching for the last 6 years. I've been performing for the last 5 years. Guitar lessons include some warm ups, then a review of any exercises we've been focusing on. These could include scales, chords, picking techniques, etc. Then I like to move on to a piece of music that the student has been working on or wants to start learning.

I like to talk about their influences, styles of music, favorite decades, etc. I then want to know why they are taking up guitar lessons, and what they want to get out of the lessons. Then we'll get right into it.

Someone who just enjoys music and wants to have a good time playing it.

Fees can be payed in advance on a monthly basis or by how many lessons a student wants to book at a time. Lessons are taught on a weekly basis. Students usually pay for each lesson as they have them.
