My teaching approach :

I've been playing guitar and writing songs for about 20 years. Played with several bands in high school, did 2 acoustic CDs and performed throughout college. For the past 3 years I have been focusing on my band, Heavens Have Strayed, singing, playing guitar, and writing most of the material. My influences derive from rock & metal to mellow, acoustic work. I teach all across the genre spectrum.

Fee Schedule :

I will drive up to 30 minutes to a student's home for $30/hr, or I will teach in my own home for $20/hr. I prefer one hour lessons, as I believe that any less is not enough time to get "in the groove" for most subjects.

My cancellation/booking policy :

I'm very flexible. In addition to guitar, I tutor in math, science (other subjects...) so I have quite a few students. Generally, students keep the same appointments every week, but things do change all the time. As long as I'm given a few days in advance, cancellations are fine.
