My teaching approach :

I provide a fun, relaxed, supportive environment where student of all abilities will experience success and increased self-confidence. I start by teaching open chords (maj, min, and dom7) and basic strumming and picking patterns, using songs that students will enjoy playing as teaching tools. Students then learn advanced chords (barre chords, power chords, maj7/min7,dim/aug chords, sus chords), open scales, movable scales for lead playing, techniques for lead playing (hammer on, bend, pull off, etc.), advanced picking, reading music notation, tabs, & lead sheets, & music theory&songwriting.

$20 per 45 minute lesson (1/2 hour lessons for kids 12 and under)
