My teaching approach :

My approach as a teacher is to not only show someone how to play guitar, but to turn them into a musician. By understanding music, learning, improving, and expanding as a player never ends, even after lessons have. Being that I've played over 1000 performances ranging from rock to classical, this is what has allowed me to improve and adapt to different styles, even after over 30 of playing.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

Someone who's open minded and really wants to play the guitar. These students are the easiest to teach and improve the quickest since they are typically open to the greatest variety of music, and not put off by the technical work involved in learning guitar.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

Monday - Friday 3:00pm to 9:00pm Mornings are also available Monday - Saturday.

My influences are:

Electric - Mark Knopfler, Eddie Van Halen, David Gilmore, BB King, SRV, Steve Morse, Alan Holdsworth southern rock players. Acoustic - Alex DeGrasse, Chet Atkins, Martin Simpson, Ed Gerhard, Harvey Reid, David Surette, Segovia, Julian Bream.

Fee Schedule :

$20 per Half Hour. Payable in monthly blocks.

My cancellation/booking policy :

24 hour notice entitles you to a make up lesson.
