My teaching approach :

I teach the basics first.... then.. I get you playing simple songs and riffs. I believe in having fun and building your stamina and "twitch" abilities with your finger as well as quickness (very powerful skill sets). This will advance you rapidly and have more confidence.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

1: Warm up. 2: Simple jam, slow then faster 3: Introduce new song and new riffs. 4: Speed drill 5: review song and riffs, jam to new material.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

Ask them to play some chords, a song and perhaps do some jamming in a common key.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

A student that practices all the new material I throw at them and improves at a high rate.

I prefer Tuesday and Thursdays from 3-9 PM or by prearranged appointment.
