A guitar lesson with me might entail the following
Lessons can run from half hour to hour intervals and involve teaching a mixture of planned music. Often this may include music ranging from traditional American or world folk or popular music to modern rock, jazz, or really any other genre that is interesting. Theory and improvisation is often explored as well.
Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following
As an introduction, the student and teacher will briefly explore the guitar and play a simple or more complicated piece of music depending on the skill level of the student. Rhythm on guitar is introduced as early as possible as well, to form a strong foundation on which to build on.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following
An ideal student is anyone that is willing to play music. We are all different and everyone has their own style.

My influences range from just about anywhere. I have played jazz, funk, rock, and many other styles, professionally. I am a member of Chopteeth Afrofunk Big Band. A band that has released two WAMMIE winning albums, played at top venues, and collaborated with international musicians. www.chopteeth.com
Fee Schedule :
Fees are priced with the consumer in mind and have been kept low for years. $88 for a month worth of half hour lessons, including months when there is an extra fifth week! that is only $22/ half hour lesson at 45 minutes or an hour the price is scaled back to $30/ 45 minutes or $40/ hour
My cancellation/booking policy :
I attempt to have the best possible policies for my students. I will usually give as many make-up lessons as are needed to allow the student the greatest amount of flexibility without any exceptions.
