My teaching approach :

I believe that a well rounded education in music is essential to playing guitar well. A student should be able to read and write music in order to effectively communicate ideas to other musicians. All my students learn to read and write as part of my curriculum. I also believe it essential to begin with the student's inerests in music. As in anyother educational endeavor, the student must have an interest in the material under study in order to gain the most in their educational experience. I work with young beginners, old beginners and a wide variety of interests and levels in between.

Early on I was influenced by: The beatles Smothers Brothers Flanders and Swan Later I was influenced by Santana Pat Matheny Kenny Rankin and still later Segovia Assad brothers luis Bofa Django Reinhardt to name a few

Fee Schedule :

My students give recitals every three months so I take payment quarterly which amounts to $300. We can arrange other payment options to suit the student.

My cancellation/booking policy :

If the student gives me 48 hours notice of an absence we can reschedule a lesson if a have openings available in my schedule. Otherwise if a student misses a lesson, they must pay for that lesosn. If I miss a lesson for any reason, we will reschedule that lesson or I will give credit for the next payment.
