Eight reasons why I might be your best choice for learning how to play guitar or bass: I teach the way I wish I’d been taught: fun, interesting, patient, and without intimidation. I teach the music you want to learn, from metal to jazz, country to folk. I start with teaching how to play a song of your choice from the very first lesson. I teach all ages, from six to sixty, with the same proven approach. I am a student, too: I’m a college music major and privately study jazz with a studio session player. I bring my own enthusiasm for learning, my love of music and a desire to help you succeed, into every lesson. I charge the same whether you come to me (in a sound-proof studio behind my house in Valley Village where my mom also teaches acting) or at your home (within 10 miles of 91607) . My students give me high marks and you can call them for a reference.
