I've been playing guitar and studying music for 23 years. I've been teaching guitar and bass professionally for the last seven years. I've performed and recorded as both a solo artist and as a member of various bands from Grindcore Metal to Old School R&B. I've performed at various clubs; from the Sunset Strip in LA to the west coast of Sweden. I also frequents various blues jams. I truly love teaching. I like to inspire all my students through encouragement and instilling confidence. I have experience in teaching all styles of playing, and have a knack for tailoring my ... lessons for the individual. My biggest priority is to ensure the satisfaction of my students by teaching them in areas of music that they are interested in, while making sure that the fundamentals of music are solidly understood. I often love to leave time for jamming and learning to improvise, because I feel one of the best ways to learn is by playing with other musicians. I also encourage students to compose and write their own music. I believe therein lies the true joy of music: creating and sharing music with others!
