My teaching approach :

I've had 5 years of teaching experience, mostly at churches and local volunteer centres. I usually begin by interviewing the student briefly by phone, or in person, about their favourite styles of music, why they want to play guitar, and what we can do as a team to improve and better his learning experience. Through exploration, experimentation, and motivation, I make sure that my students learn quickly, and efficiently.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

We typically begin by reviewing what I taught the student, and what he may have learn/ improved upon by completing his inter-session assignment. Afterwards, I assist the student by correcting any errors and praising him for doing his work. Following that, we usually go over my plan for the lesson, and commence the instruction. Depending on his skill level, I choose something appropriate to teach him.

In my first lesson, I usually give the student an opportunity to express his goals for learning. Depending on his answers, I usually give him a long-term view of what we'll be doing, and then we get to work on completing his goals.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

Motivated, confident, and enthusiastic about learning to play the guitar.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

I'm available Mondays through Fridays from 4pm to 8pm. Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 8pm.

Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Mark Knopfler, Eddie Van Halen, Robert Johnson, Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, The Animals, Kurt Cobain, Joan Baez, Jimi Hendrix, John Meyer, among others.

Fee Schedule :

I charge 20 dollars per hour, or 10 dollars for one-half of an hour.

My cancellation/booking policy :

There Is a $5 cancellation fee If it is made on the day of the appointment.
