My teaching approach :

Working with beginning to intermediate students, utilizing weekly goals to reach long term goals. Lessons are designed to fit the individual’s time frame, maintaining an emphasis on fun with good practice time.

I usually start by assessing the progress made in the week, help with any weakness or bad habits that may have developed, and then move on to new material.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

I ask a series of questions to find out where they are in guitar playing, where they are looking to go with playing, and what they are expecting to get from guitar lessons. From there I will walk through a few basics to make sure they are up to the level they say they are.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

Eager to learn, practice, listen, and willing to ask questions. Questions help the student in many obvious ways, but also help me to be sure I am teaching effectively to the students learning style. PLEASE ask questions.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

Mondays 4-8 Wednesdays 3-8 Thursdays 4-8 Fridays 4-6:30

John Mayer, Eric CLapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, The Eagles, Bush, Sister Hazel, Boston, Journey, Carlos Santana, and many others.

Fee Schedule :

I bill once a month after the month of lessons has passed. That way no one has to pay for lessons that were canceled in an appropriate amount of time.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Must cancel 24 hours in advance or you will be billed anyway.
