My teaching approach :
Robert is experienced in teaching all ages, from seven to (almost) seventy-seven. Robert believes that all students are unique and tailors the lesson plans to the students needs, rather than a prescribed method. With that said, Robert prefers to use Hal Leonard, Guitar Method 1 for children 10 and younger. Robert has been playing guitar over 35 years, right now averaging 150 shows a year.

Fee Schedule :
Lessons are $80/month for a weekly 1/2 hr. lesson at Riks Music in Knoxville Mondays through Thursdays or at my home studio in Maryville on Fridays. Occassional lessons are also available by appointment. See www.robhigg.net for further information.
My cancellation/booking policy :
I will do my best to schedule a make up with the student who misses and occassional lesson. Every third month there is a 5th week on average. If the student attends all lessons, the 5th week is free. If no other options then we use that day as the makeup If i can't make a lesson then it is up the student. If we cannot schedule a convenient make up then the month is pro-rated.
