My teaching approach :

I find the students goal and work toward that. I have many guitars and recording gear to aid the process. I've played and recorded with several bands and solo. I enjoy writing and arranging music.

A guitar lesson with me might entail the following

Depends on the students goals, but a 30 minute lesson may be half fundamentals (scales, reading, drills) and half songs (whatever you want to play...Green Day, Taylor Swift or your own).

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following

We talk about styles they like (artists, bands) goals they have for music and previous experience if any and possible materials (books, iPod, gear, etc.). If they have anything prepared to play I listen to that.

The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

Mon-Thurs 2:00-9:00 Sat 10:00-4:00

My influences are:

Beetles, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, U2, Chuck Berry, Stevie Ray Vaughn and a host of blues players

Fee Schedule :

$20 per half hour

My cancellation/booking policy :

If I miss I will make it up at a time that works for you. If the student misses I will try to make it up (usually can).
