My teaching approach :
My approach to teaching is very simple and direct. Focus on what the student is interested in learning. I do not give "half-hour" lessons. All lessons are 1 hour minimum. I possess a wealth of teaching aides that I have created over many years. My students are provided with whatever materials they need to achieve their personal goal(s). My studio, "The Jam Room", is fully equipped for the student's maximum convenience. For those who feel that, "Hearing is believing", go to the website link in this profile.
A guitar lesson with me might entail the following
A lesson at "The Jam Room", is always fun, highly informative, and an hour in length. "Success is measured by achieved results, not promises made."
Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following
Introductory lessons are the most important. This is when the instructor and student assess a number of "common" issues, as well as establish the foundation for the lessons to come. Assessing a student's playing ability, for me, is a very simple, courteous, and painless process.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following
An "ideal" student is one who possesses a true desire to learn and progress.
Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:
The Jam Room is open... Monday-Thursday / 1pm-9pm Friday / 1pm-5pm Saturday / 10am-3pm Sunday / 10am-1pm
My influences are:
My musical influences are far too numerous to attempt to list. They range from Mozart to Led Zeppelin, and everything in between.
Fee Schedule :
Studio fees are simple to remember. Lessons are $20/Hour. Students can pay by the lesson, bi-weekly, or monthly.
My cancellation/booking policy :
Should a student need to cancel, I would prefer at least 24 hours notice. Sometimes this is not possible. I do ask that, should a student cancel, they accept a $5.00 cancellation fee due at the next lesson. I feel this is only fair, where studio time is concerned.
Which methods of payment are accepted?
Paypal, Money Orders, Checks, Cash
I have been teaching guitar for:
25 Year(s)
