My teaching approach :

I prefer a flexible approach, building a long-term plan to meet the students' goals. We can build a solid foundation of music theory, jump right into learning cover songs, or do both. I emphasize the expressive, artistic side of musicianship and am completely flexible on supporting a variety of musical styles. I have a PA with mics, two amps and multiple guitars (electric and acoustic).

My influences are:

The Rolling Stones and Tom Petty drove me to guitar initially, but I have a pretty broad range of influences that include everything from REM and Radiohead to the Dropkick Murphys. I'll help students learn anything that they would like to learn. I have fifteen years of songwriting and performing experience.

Fee Schedule :

$60/month for a weekly 30-minute lesson at my home studio (due at first lesson of the month). Arrangements to teach at an alternate location negotiable (though all my gear is at home). Available weekends, some weekday evenings.

My cancellation/booking policy :

24 hours notice prior to lesson cancellation, book and pay a month in advance.
