From building a strong foundation of skills to learning your favorite songs, I'll make sure that what you will learn will be personalized, educational AND fun! Inside my studio, I provide all equipment needed except for the actual instruments.

A typical lesson would start out with reviewing progress from the previous lesson so that I can see how the student is progressing. After that, we'll go into the material for the current lesson, and if there is enough time left at the end of the lesson, we'll have some time to jam out together for a bit.

First, I think the most important thing is to get to know the student and hear what their dreams and goals are by learning the guitar. My job is to give them the tools to be successful in reaching their goals. Next, I will ask them what kind of music they like, what are their favorite artists or songs. This way, I can get a clear vision as to what the student wants to do or what kind of style they are pursuing.

The ideal guitar student to me is someone who is driven to reach their goals. While it is my job to get them there, it has to be something they want as well.

Monday - 4pm-8pm Tuesday - 4pm - 8pm Wednesday - 4pm - 6pm Thursday - 4pm - 6pm Saturday - 9am - 11am These are core hours but I'm willing to be flexible. Just ask!

Payments are handled monthly are due on the 1st of every month.

If you need to cancel your lesson, please try to give at least a couple of days notice. I will try to schedule a make-up lesson for you but I cannot guarantee it will be possible. Please try to remember that you are not only paying for lessons but you’re also paying for your rented time slot at my studio. Any cancellations due to vacations should be submitted to me two weeks prior. If I need to cancel because of illness, we will either reschedule or you will be credited the amount of the missed lesson. We live in Michigan so the weather is very unpredictable. If local law enforcement suggests that people should stay at home due to inclement weather and you cannot attend your scheduled lesson, a make-up lesson will be scheduled. No-shows, no excuses. A full lesson payment will be charged and will not be rescheduled
