My teaching approach :

I current direct the Gagie School Bands, teach adjunct at Western Michigan University, and offer theory courses through Crescendo Academy of Music. My approach to guitar is that of making my students well-rounded, knowledgeable, and capable of playing songs via chords, lead sheets, notations, tabs, or by ear. I incorporate theory, songwriting, and note reading into my lessons.

Influences are far too wide ranging, considering I started in band on trumpet, played guitar and wrote songs in high school, and completed my master's in composition at WMU.

Fee Schedule :

$35/ hour, or $20/ half hour.

My cancellation/booking policy :

Things come up. If for some reason you are not able to make a lessons, let me know ASAP and we will schedule a make up or wait until the following week. I prefer a monthly payment.
