Lloyd Wallace a.k.a " Dr.Scary " is a Michigan based guitarist that is one of the most intense shredding guitarists in the Michigan area , Lloyd has been playing in various bands for the past 25 years, most recently Slap Maggy. Slap Maggy currently has one cd of originals, "Damage", He also has his own instrumental cd called "Fingers of Flight"., He has been a member of such bands as; Groove Tribe, an A circuit band that traveled extensively throughout the United States, and also an Ozzy tribute band, Mr. Crowley, which is considered a national touring act. His touring has taken me to the Virgin Islands, while playing in St. Thomas, two of his instrumentals were played by the local radio station. The radio station received many complimentary calls after the songs were aired. He has had the privilege of opening for national acts such as : the Bullet Boys, Mr. Big, Sponge, Crossfade, Dope, Throttle Body, Egypt Central, Hydrovibe, Lennex, Bobflex, Fixer, Filter, Circus Diablo, Mondo Genrator and The Showdown, He has played on the "VIRTUOSITY '09" The guitar Guitar Experience tour in michgan with joe stump, michael harris & the sean Baker orchestra, He has devoted many hours of practice and has sacrificed many things in his life to his guitar playing , learning new techniques and skills be the best that he can. His influence's are Yngwie Malmsteen , joe stump, Joe Satriani , Michael Angelo Batio , Jason Becker , Steve Vai & Randy Roads , Lloyd has been teaching privately since 1990 , and has worked with of students of all levels, He is endorsed by S.I.T. Strings , Guitarheads pickups , Halo Guitar's , turbotrem and rockstarwear.
