My teaching approach :

The programs of study are tailored to each individual student. I have taught students with just about every goal imaginable in music, from professional performing (Terry Balsamo from Evanescence and Cold, James McDonough former bassist for Megadeth), to further study in college or conservatory, to those just wanting to play for personal enjoyment. I have helped numerous students get in to the guitar programs at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and LaVilla. I have studied music for 38 years now, and have performed 1000 gigs in many different styles.

In the introductory lesson I assess the student's level of achievement based on technical proficiency, improvisational ability, reading level (if applicable), and lay out a plan to help the student achieve their musical goals.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

Monday -Friday. Usually from 2:30-9:30PM, but I can accommodate most special requests.

Everyone! From Andres Segovia , Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Eric Clapton, James Taylor, and the list is basically endless. Just about everybody you could imagine!

Fee Schedule :

Lessons are 1/2 hour, once a week, 4 times a month. $85.00 per month, or $25 per lesson. If you would like a longer lesson that can also be worked out.

My cancellation/booking policy :

I would appreciate at least 24 hours notice if someone can not make a lesson.
