My teaching approach :

As a teacher, I don’t believe in forcing kids through method books and programs. Instead I try to teach them the songs they want to learn. I remember being 12 years old and really wanting to learn to play guitar and not trudge through “Mary Had a Little Lamb.” I believe in helping my students build curiosity and that curiosity will breed the passion necessary to progress as a student and a musician. These days I’ve been studying Troy Stetina’s lead guitar program, helping lead worship at local churches and playing in the pop/blues band Rookwood with my wife Krista.

It wasn’t until the age of 14 when a friend introduced me to early Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne recordings that it lit a fire under me to become a great player.

Fee Schedule :

$24/30 minute lesson paid monthly in advance.

My cancellation/booking policy :

We strongly encourage make-up lessons to keep students on schedule with their learning. If instructor misses lesson the fee is either credited toward next month or refunded. If student fails to provide a 24 hour notice of absence and is unable to make up the lesson the lesson fee may be forfeited.
