Music is the universal language. It speaks to us, invokes certain moods within us and ultimately makes us realize something about our individual selves. That special "something" which we might not have known if the music wasn't present. If you're looking to create such music that will affect other people on a positive level then your journey is beginnning right now. Maybe you're a once upon a time guitar player who recently is trying to get back into the music. Or a young person who desires to make music and perhaps one day share your thoughts with the world through your compositions. In order to become good at anything you do, everyone needs direction. This is my goal and purpose. To teach and guide you so that you have the techniques needed to reach your musical aspirations. My philosophy is simple.. "To teach in such a way that the student wants to pick up the guitar and play." This requires teaching them songs from well known artists or perhaps breaking down individual techniques used by those artists and incorporating them in a lesson format. All forms of rock guitar are examined and explained during each session. My influences span from Muddy Waters to Paul Gilbert, Buckethead, Steve Vai, Edward Van Halen and everyone in between. Lessons are taught at my home in a smoke free enviroment. If the time runs over an hour to maybe an hour and a half the rate still is the same. I'm more interested in having you fully understand the lesson. If this means more time needs to be spent then more time will be allocated. I've been playing guitar for over 2 decades and take great satisfaction in watching all of my students grow into extremely gifted musicians. If you've read this far it means you're interested. Rates: $25 - Half hour $50 - One hour $160 - 4 One hour sessions(Monthly rate)

I'm extremely flexible with cancellations. I do realize situations may come up where it is impossible to give a full 24 hr notice. This is fine. As long as the passion for playing is still alive and cancellations don't become a habit, sutdents can cancel up until the hour.
